The cover of Annie's book, For Widows Only! The book has been available online and at bookstores on land since early 2004. The cover's photo of the empty hammock, symbolizing the missing man in a widow's life, was taken by Annie's new man, Bob, who she found after 7 years alone. The hammock belongs to Annie's son, Dave, and his family in Seekonk, MA.

If you wish more information about the book, or want to buy it, go to Annie's book site: http://forwidowsonly.com .  Annie's other site, a support site for widows, is: http://groups.msn.com/forwidowsonly.  This site now has 770 widows on board, amazingly wise and caring women who listen and reach out to help each other. The site's widows range in age from 20 to more than 80, and cover every possible variation on the widowhood theme. They are rich and poor; young, middle-age and older; with infants, school-age kids and grown kids as well as no kids at all; in all parts of the US and English-speaking countries abroad; they work for pay outside the home and in the home as well as being full-time moms or tired retirees. You are bound to find someone who has "been there" and will understand your needs.
